Eduardo A. Sambrizzi is member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires and the Lawyers’ Association of the City of Buenos Aires. He is also a member of the National Academy of Law and Social Sciences of the City of Buenos Aires and Director of the Family and Biolaw Division of the Civil Law Institute of such Academy. He is also full member of Academia del Plata and academic member of different European and Latin American universities. He has been Chairman of the Catholic Lawyers Corporation. He has acted as Jury of the Judicial Council for the selection of national civil judges, and in different contests for the appointment of professors at the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires, as well as to evaluate doctoral theses in several national and foreign universities. He has written around 300 articles and notes in national and foreign legal reviews, both in Latin America and Europe, apart from seventeen books on his area of expertise (the last one, in the year 2018, a Family Law Treaty in seven volumes), two of which received an award from the National Academy of Law and Social Sciences. He was Professor of Civil Law at different universities in the country.
